The installation is a collaborative 2-day design and build project using only found materials in the local area. The ‘Parklet’ takes over the area of one standard size car parking space in an attempt to heighten he awareness of the amount of space given over to cars throughout our cities. Showing how small areas can be transformed, quickly, cheaply, and easily to become more habitable by people. The installation is simple and playful to attract activity and interest as well as providing opportunity for exhibition and events.

The project is a result of two final year Architecture and Urban Planning projects which are exhibited on Level 6 Matthew Building, DJCAD, Dundee.
